Remote Metering Specialist

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team in Perth, Western Australia.

This role involves remotely commissioning and maintaining Yurika metering in the National Electricity Market (NEM).

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with installation contractors, inspectors, and network operators to arrange new metering installations.
  • Validate the accuracy and correctness of metering and provide technical support to customers and service providers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Electrical Workers License, trade qualified within Northern Territory or an ability to obtain mutual recognition.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of safety requirements and the operation and maintenance of metering installations as well as the ability to install, test and fault find complex metering systems including telecommunications equipment.
  • A working knowledge of Electricity Act & Regulations, Workplace Health & Safety Act and Regulations, National Electricity Rules, and other relevant statutory acts & regulations.
  • Well-developed interpersonal communication skills to develop good working relationships with team members and external customers to provide efficient and effective solutions and improvements to meet business and regulatory requirements.
