Workforce Planning Strategist

Compensation PackageThe successful candidate can expect a salary in the range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a seasoned Workforce Planning Strategist to join our People & Culture team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for planning, leading, developing, and implementing workforce strategies that optimise resource allocation, enhance operational efficiency, and drive performance across our event delivery workforce.
You will work closely with organisational leaders, including venue, events, and precinct operations teams, to ensure alignment, engagement, and world-class standards among our ~800 casual employees. Your expertise in large-scale workforce planning, employee relations, and industrial frameworks will be instrumental in driving business outcomes.
In this role, you will develop and implement a fit-for-purpose performance and capability framework for our Event Workforce, collaborate on the design and implementation of a best-in-class People Experience Strategy, and oversee scheduling processes to ensure seamless execution.
As a strategic and collaborative leader, you will bring value and expertise to our organisation, prioritising relationships and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and whole-of-workforce development for the Event Workforce (~800 casual employees)
- Develop and implement a fit-for-purpose performance and capability framework for the Event Workforce
- Lead the development and implementation of the workforce planning strategy for M&OP's event workforce
- Oversee scheduling processes for the event workforce
- Contribute to the design and implementation of a best-in-class People Experience Strategy
