The Role:

As an Electrical Maintenance Officer with oOh, you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our electrical assets across Melbourne metro areas. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting electrical safety inspections and maintenance to meet local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Performing electrical fault maintenance and repairs to all assets.
  • Logging and reporting maintenance assessments via mobile app to the Team Leader.
  • Participating in new and existing building activities and contributing to the overall delivery of projects.
  • Responding to road traffic incidents where assets have been affected to secure the site and ensure public safety until repairs can be made.
  • Adhering to and promoting Work Health Safety (WHS) policies and practices, and fostering a safety culture.
  • Utilizing a company vehicle, uniform, and equipment provided.

The Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must possess a current, non-restricted A Class Electrical License that meets Government regulations, and be available to work occasional on-call and after-hours work (as per the team's rational roster). A full, valid Australian Drivers Licence is also required.

In addition, you will thrive in a team environment, work autonomously, and use your initiative while working with minimal supervision. Good communication, technical skills, and compliance with WHS policies are essential for this role. You must also pass a pre-employment Drug & alcohol check, license check, and reference checks.
