About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and self-driven Maintenance Fitter to join our team at our Seven Hills facility. As a key member of our engineering and maintenance function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of asset care and supporting Safety, Quality, and Production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to troubleshoot issues and maintain plant production capability
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis on critical failures and implement action items
  • Support the implementation of capital projects
  • Lead by example in demonstrating genuine safety-first leadership
  • Foster continuous improvement to ensure compliance with policy and guidelines
Requirements
  • Visible leadership in driving a Zero Harm culture
  • Formal qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience/training
  • Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics is preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and inquisitive mindset
  • Result-driven focus with strong mechanical aptitude
  • Some training in Lean manufacturing techniques and root cause analysis is desirable
  • Great communication skills and strong rapport-building techniques
  • Current and Valid 'S' Permit (Restricted Electrical License) would be advantageous
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite/computer skills
