The Role:

As an Electrical Maintenance Officer, you will be part of a team based out of our Steven Hills depot, responsible for providing proactive and reactive electrical and light box maintenance on oOh Street Furniture assets across Melbourne metro areas. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting electrical audits and maintenance of ad boxes, courtesy lighting, trip switches, totem poles, solar shelter panels, and batteries.
  • Completing electrical safety and RCD inspections in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Logging and reporting all maintenance assessments via mobile app to the Team Leader.
  • Participating in new and existing building activities and assisting in the overall delivery of projects.
  • Securing sites and ensuring public safety during road traffic incidents affecting assets.
  • Adhering to and promoting Work Health Safety (WHS) policies and practices.

The Experience:

To be considered for this role, you must possess a current, non-restricted A Class Electrical License that meets Government regulations. A full, valid Australian Drivers Licence is also required. You will thrive in a team environment, work autonomously, and demonstrate good communication and tech-savvy skills. Compliance with WHS policies is essential, and you must pass a pre-employment Drug & alcohol check, license check, and reference checks.
