Research Position:

We are seeking a highly motivated PhD student to work on connecting spatial and spectral information to understand complex materials systems at the molecular level using machine learning.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop multiple instance learning and weak supervision/spatial transcriptomics models to individualise tumour type, associated biomarkers, and genomic characteristics to high precision.
  • Design and implement multipurpose machine learning workflows for rapid precision diagnoses and effective individualised cancer care plans.
  • Coding and user interface development skills will be developed.

Requirements:

  • Australian citizenship, Australian permanent residency, or New Zealand special category visa holders.
