About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our team at St John WA. As a key member of our People Services team, you will provide expert advice and support to our management and employees on a range of HR matters, including employment contracts, awards, and legislation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and legislation to ensure compliance and consistency across the organisation.
  • Support the resolution of grievances and complaints, working closely with the People Services Business Partner to ensure fair and equitable treatment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to promote a positive and inclusive work environment, ensuring that our organisation's standards and expectations are consistently applied.
  • Conduct termination and exit interview processes, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Develop and maintain HR records, ensuring accurate and accessible documentation.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of employment contracts, awards, and applicable HR/IR legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Desirable: completion of a tertiary qualification in HR management or a related field.
