About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Learning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our People Learning team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative learning initiatives that align with our organization's values and strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver engaging professional development activities for staff and volunteers, leveraging your expertise in instructional design, coaching, and facilitation.
- Progress the Learning and Development calendar to include diverse development opportunities, promoting a learning culture within the organization.
- Monitor and evaluate internal and external learning events against agreed criteria to ensure effectiveness in meeting learning outcomes and impact on the organization.
- Assist in the development of Leadership frameworks for different levels within the Leadership group, enriching the employee lifecycle management.
- Stay updated on employee development trends, reviewing existing programs to recommend continuous improvement and revitalization of learning packages.

- A passion for learning and development with demonstrated experience in delivering training and building people's capability and skillsets.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to identify areas for improvement.
- Demonstrated experience working in a high-paced, learning and development environment.
- Previous experience in developing high-quality professional education resources.
- Experience with producing learning programs resulting from research and supplementary material.
- Experience with learning design tools such as Articulate Rise, Storyline 360, and Learning Management Systems (desirable).
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or relevant degree (desirable).
