About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Service Employee to join our team at The Salvation Army Aged Care. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with medication management, including administering medication and monitoring residents' health
  • Conduct regular checks on residents' health and well-being, reporting any concerns to the care team
  • Develop and maintain accurate documentation of residents' care plans and progress
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure residents receive comprehensive care and support
About You

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and support to our residents. To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care and current First Aid Certificate
  • Experience working in a care environment, preferably in a residential setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to providing person-centred care and support
  • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive and supportive team culture
