Job Title: Cloud Manager

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Manager to lead our Infrastructure and Operations team.

This is a hands-on role that requires overall accountability for managing the Cloud capability for new and existing services under operational support.

The day-to-day responsibilities of the Cloud Manager include:

  • Operational management/technical leadership of all Cloud services, in collaboration with service partners.
  • Providing governance oversight, standards, and technology roadmap for Cloud services.
  • Supporting project teams on technical change requests, risks, and issues.
  • Leading and managing the Cloud team, providing technical guidance and support.

As a successful candidate, you will have:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years' experience in Microsoft infrastructure support and improvement activities.
  • 3+ years' experience in practical use of cloud-based services such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS deployment scenarios using Azure.
  • 5+ years in a Technical Microsoft Lead or similar capacity.
  • Expertise across the Microsoft stack, virtualization, and Azure platforms.
  • Solid experience with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory Services, and Azure Active Directory supporting both traditional on-premise Microsoft and Azure environments.

The Cloud Manager will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic plans to improve Cloud services. This includes identifying opportunities to improve service quality, reducing costs, and increasing efficiency. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.

A key aspect of the job is to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including IT vendors, partners, and internal customers. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to negotiate and influence others to achieve desired outcomes.

The Cloud Manager must have a deep understanding of Cloud technologies, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS). Experience with Azure and other cloud platforms is highly desirable. Additionally, expertise in areas such as DevOps, continuous integration, and continuous delivery is beneficial.
