Operational Architect Job Summary

We are seeking an expert technical leader to provide strategic guidance across cloud and infrastructure environments.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and delivering innovative ICT solutions that meet the needs of our stakeholders.

  • Develop and review customer technical designs, bills of materials, and proposals to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Provide technical advice and maintain architectural integrity across ICT environments, ensuring seamless integration and scalability
  • Lead solution design for operational requirements and major project change requests, driving business outcomes through technical excellence
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate inputs and ensure end-to-end solution delivery, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
  • Support operational teams with troubleshooting and problem resolution, providing timely and effective support to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
  • Assess technical risks and contribute to solution costing and feasibility, ensuring that solutions are cost-effective and meet business needs
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions, building strong relationships and driving business growth

Requirements

  • Australian Citizen and eligible for Government Security Clearance, ensuring the highest level of security and integrity
  • Strong technical knowledge across cloud, data networks, security, and infrastructure, enabling the delivery of cutting-edge solutions
  • Proven ability to design and deliver complex ICT solutions in managed environments, driving business outcomes through technical expertise
  • Skilled in coordinating diverse technical inputs and leading solution development, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
  • Comfortable working in outsourcing environments and with third-party integrations, ensuring seamless integration and scalability
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills, building strong relationships and driving business growth
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, enabling the delivery of cost-effective and innovative solutions
  • Ability to work independently and mentor others, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
