About this role

We're seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to help us deliver positive outcomes for our organisation and the clients we serve.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports, assisting with funding reconciliations and grant acquittals, managing accounts receivable, and supporting budgeting and forecasting initiatives.

Key responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Funding Reconciliations: Assist with funding reconciliations and grant acquittals to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Accounts Receivable: Manage accounts receivable, including billing and collections, to ensure prompt payment from customers.
  • Budgeting and Forecasts: Assist with budgeting and forecasting initiatives to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Asset Management: Help manage asset stocktake projects to ensure accurate inventory levels and minimize losses.
  • Audit and Tax: Assist with audit and tax processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in an aged care or not-for-profit organisation.
  • Professional Qualification: CA or CPA qualification (or actively working towards one) and strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of aged care standards, legislation, and funding models, as well as ability to liaise confidently with regulatory bodies.
