Job Opportunity for a Skilled Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day accounting tasks such as bookkeeping, financial reporting, tax preparation, and compliance.

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and compliance requirements, as well as proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial statements, tax returns, BAS, and compliance work for individuals, companies, trusts, and SMSFs
  • Assist with business advisory services, including budgeting, cash flow, and management reporting
  • Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients
  • Work collaboratively with senior accountants and partners on client engagements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing high-quality service
Requirements:
  • 2–3 years' experience in an Australian public practice accounting firm
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (completed or near completion of CA/CPA highly regarded)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines with attention to detail
  • Korean speakers preferred
