Expert Naval Architect

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Naval Architect to join our team at Navantia Australia.
About the Role:
- Perform structural calculations in accordance with established standards.
- Design, deliver, and maintain ship systems within Class Society rules and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
- Conduct Systems Engineering assessments of General Design requirements.
- Document deliverables in accordance with customer management plans.
- Liaise with clients and subcontractors.
- Conduct requirements analysis and verification development.
- Perform engineering investigations and develop documentation.
- Interface with other platform system disciplines for technical services delivery.
- Manage project schedules, resourcing, and progress monitoring.
Key Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Naval Architecture.
- Experience with 2D CAD software.
- Familiarity with Class Society rules and IMO requirements.
- Eligibility for ITAR clearance.
- Australian Citizenship or eligible for AGSVA Defence Security Clearance.
