Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Naval Architect to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing naval systems, including structural and mechanical components.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in naval architecture, with experience in performing first principle structural calculations, hydrodynamics, stability, and seakeeping analyses. You will also be responsible for developing and reviewing technical documentation, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, and participating in project planning and administration.

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Naval Architecture, Structural, Mechanical, or equivalent)
  • At least 2+ years of experience in a Naval Architecture or marine engineering function
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including proficiency in FEA, CAD, and engineering software packages
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and operate autonomously
  • Ability to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance (Baseline Clearance minimum)
