This key position, reporting directly to the hospital CEO in collaboration with the Doctor Engagement Manager, will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing cohesive strategies to support growth in key specialties.
- Promoting specialists and building referrals through GP practice visits and a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program.
- Developing targeted communications to profile new and existing medical specialists and services.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing GP practices in our catchment.
- Maintaining strategic relationships with key stakeholders to advance business goals.
- Identifying and leveraging opportunities to accelerate results and meet stakeholder needs.
- Maintaining and growing our GP database, ensuring accurate and detailed records.
- Providing monthly reports to evaluate effectiveness of activities and demonstrate Return on Investment (ROI) through increased referrals.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a business development or similar role in healthcare.
- Understanding of medical specialists and the relationship with referrers, including GPs, other specialists, and healthcare professionals.
- A strong track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to effectively engage with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry.
- Experience using data to monitor the market, build a pipeline of opportunities, and create growth strategies.
- Experience with cold calling and influencing referrer groups.
