
Chief Compliance Officer for Regulatory Affairs

This pivotal leadership role offers significant autonomy, guiding a team of exceptional regional compliance professionals, and collaborating closely with local compliance managers to ensure robust, adaptable, and effective compliance arrangements that mitigate regulatory risk.
The regional head of compliance will engage with commercial stakeholders across the organization, fostering a responsive, pragmatic, and commercially astute approach aligned with our strategic objectives and risk appetite.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned compliance leader to make a significant impact on organizational culture, championing a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing and executing a regional compliance strategy aligned with the organization's vision, purpose, values, and goals.
- Leading, managing, and developing the regional compliance function, setting consistent standards and providing business-oriented risk solutions.
- Driving performance, improvement, and efficiency in compliance processes using technology and data.
- Managing regulatory risk, ensuring compliance with local regulations and global requirements, and aligning with risk appetite.
As the regional head of compliance, you will possess:
- Demonstrated a minimum of 10 years of regulatory compliance experience with OTC derivatives issuers (CFD's, leveraged FX) and AML/CTF experience in the financial services industry across multiple regions and over 2 years of managing a team.
- Proven experience working under various licenses, including AU (AFSL license), Dubai (DFSA license), Kenya (CMA license), and Bahamas (SCB license).
- Strong understanding of the financial services and AML/CTF regulatory environment and licensing regimes.
- Strong understanding of compliance management principles and industry best practices.
