About the Role

The Department of Education, Western Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Education Support Department, you will play a critical role in providing educational leadership and support to our students, staff, and community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide educational leadership and support to the Education Support Department, including developing and implementing programs and initiatives to promote academic success and well-being.
  • Collaborate with the Principal and administrative team to provide strategic direction and guidance to the department.
  • Develop and promote the school's vision for academic success and encourage staff, volunteers, and community members to share ownership of the school's vision and goals.
  • Build capacity and cohesion amongst staff, including providing coaching and development opportunities to ensure a high level of performance.
  • Make valuable contributions to the College's Business Plan and participate in decision-making.
Requirements
  • Registration with the Teachers Registration Board of Western Australia.
  • Valid Working With Children Check.
  • Ability to obtain a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.
  • Exemplary teaching, learning, and behaviour management practices.
  • Outstanding knowledge of Disability and Adjustment to ensure our teaching and learning program meets the varied and complex needs of our students.
  • Highly efficient communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with others.
