Mental Health Allied Health Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as an Allied Health Assistant in mental health. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career in a growing organisation, working with a dynamic team of clinicians.

The role involves providing group intervention and therapy to patients on our acute inpatient unit who are experiencing mental ill-health. You will have the opportunity to contribute to specialist therapeutic care in the private mental health sector, while also providing cutting-edge service provision.

To succeed in this role, you will have experience working with people from diverse backgrounds at different stages of recovery from mental health challenges. Familiarity with and experience in the delivery of ACT and CBT based therapeutic interventions is essential. Confidence in autonomous group facilitation in an acute mental health inpatient setting is also required.

In addition, you will have the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team setting with patients and families. You will have access to ongoing professional development opportunities, as well as links to our wider team within our network.

Key Responsibilities:
