Job Overview

The Inland Rail Program is a 1600km rail infrastructure project stretching from Brisbane to Melbourne incorporating new and existing rail track.

This role serves as the financial liaison between Inland Rail's Finance, Project Controls, and Delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the monthly reporting cycle, including accruals,
  • Deliver high-quality financial reporting,
  • Provide insightful analysis to support decision-making,
  • Contribute to corporate compliance activities such as payroll allocations, asset capitalisation, and contract data management ensuring alignment with financial governance standards.

Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential for this position.

Candidates should have experience in financial accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.

A degree in Accounting or a related field is highly recommended.

Proficiency in MS Office and financial software is required.
