Role Overview

This position involves delivering high-quality medical care to children and adolescents with mental health issues. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry who can work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional clinical services to patients requiring mental health treatment
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans in conjunction with colleagues
  • Participating in education and training initiatives to enhance knowledge and skills
  • Contributing to policy development related to child and adolescent mental health

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fellowship or equivalent qualification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
