We are currently seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of challenging projects. The ideal candidate will have exceptional project management skills and experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects.

About the Role

The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall governance of projects, including safety, HR, cost control, project analysis, and weekly reporting.

The successful candidate will ensure all contractual obligations are met while maximising project outcomes to achieve positive client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading project teams to deliver successful projects within time, cost, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction frameworks;
  • Managing project finances, forecasting, and procurement processes;
  • Developing and implementing tender methodologies, contractual agreements, and dispute management strategies;
  • Coodinating all aspects of projects to achieve success, including time, cost, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction;
  • Contributing towards business growth and sustainability by leading, managing, and motivating multi-skilled teams;
  • Maintaining a strong focus on safety and being flexible to operate on large projects or between multiple smaller projects;
  • Identifying key issues and problems, and making proactive decisions and taking action reflective of business objectives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in civil engineering or a related field;
  • Proven ability to work away from home when required;
  • Honed skills in project financial management, forecasting, and procurement;
  • Comprehensive experience of tender methodology, contractual agreements, preparing claims, and dispute management;
  • A strong track record of coordinating all aspects of projects to achieve project success;
  • Demonstrated success in contributing towards growth and sustainability through leading, managing, and motivating multi-skilled teams;
  • A strong safety focus and flexibility to operate on a large project or between numerous smaller projects;
  • The ability to identify key issues & problems and pick the best choice among alternatives;
  • Confidence in making proactive decisions and taking action reflective of business objectives.
