Job Description:

We are seeking a Research Coordinator to support the development, implementation, and monitoring of a Strategic Research Plan for the Tasmanian Health Service North and Northwest region.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Research Director, senior clinical and hospital leadership, and the Clifford Craig Foundation to establish the Research & Innovation Centre at Launceston General Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and monitor the Strategic Research Plan for the Tasmanian Health Service North and Northwest region.
  • Collaborate with the Research Director, senior clinical and hospital leadership, and the Clifford Craig Foundation to establish the Research & Innovation Centre at Launceston General Hospital.
Requirements:
  • Experience in managing research and/or clinical trials practice within the public health system.
  • Sound evidence of professional leadership qualities and capabilities of management responsibilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and motivational skills which demonstrate a capacity to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholder groups.
