Career Opportunities: Claims Consultant

We are seeking a Claims Consultant to join our team. As a Claims Consultant, you will be responsible for facilitating the end-to-end claims process, ensuring that customers are kept informed of progress while negotiating options and escalating when required throughout the duration of the claim.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the insurance claims industry with knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and regulations. They will also possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the end-to-end claims process, including setting reserves, authorising payments, within authority levels and according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure that customers are kept informed of progress while negotiating options and escalating when required throughout the duration of the claim.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations, legal requirements, and company policies.
- Provide prompt attention to all claims in accordance with Company standards and SLA requirements.
- Keep up to date with industry best practices by participating in business-related industry forums and working groups.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in the insurance claims industry with knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
