Frontline Service Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and professional individual to deliver high-quality customer service to patients and clients attending our Medical and Surgical Outpatient Departments.

This role supports clinical teams by ensuring the smooth daily operation of clinics, managing waitlists and appointments, and maintaining strict confidentiality.

The successful candidate will communicate regularly with department leaders to ensure efficient service delivery, uphold NSW Health policies and procedures, and contribute to the optimisation of funding models.

Strong time management and prioritisation skills are essential, along with a commitment to representing the department with professionalism in both presentation and attitude.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality frontline customer service to patients and clients
  • Support clinical teams by ensuring the smooth daily operation of clinics
  • Manage waitlists and appointments
  • Maintain strict confidentiality
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in a clinic setting including reception duties, phone enquiries, appointment scheduling and data entry
  • Effective customer service skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Medicare eligibility and billing practices
