Job Title: Clinical Specialist Nurse

A clinical specialist nurse opportunity in homecare has arisen.

This role involves delivering one-to-one care to children and young people in their homes, schools, and community settings.

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering IV infusions, intramuscular and subcutaneous injections, home parenteral nutrition (HPN/TPN), and other interventions as required.

In addition, you will provide education and support to families to enable them to manage treatments safely and independently.

This is a flexible and dynamic role that requires the ability to work independently and manage a caseload.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Requirements:

  • A valid NMC registration and pin
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Flexibility and resilience for community-based work
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload
  • Care and empathy to help patients achieve their goals
  • Well-organised, able to manage own workload and itinerary
  • Basic IT skills
