Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our team at Accor. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing all engineering operations and initiatives, ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects, and shaping the future of our engineering practices.

About the Role:

  • Leadership and Management: Lead a team of engineers and contractors, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects and maintenance tasks.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute complex projects, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, housekeeping, and front-of-house staff, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems, and technologies.

About You:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in leading engineering teams and managing complex projects.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field), or trade qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
