About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Administrator to join our team at the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT). As a key member of our Case Management Branch, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end case activities, handling AAT applications, and resolving complex matters through alternative dispute resolution methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage case activities, including AAT applications and access decisions, with oversight from line managers.
  • Handle complex AAT matters, applying alternative dispute resolution methods and advocating for early resolution.
  • Attend AAT Case Conferences, Conciliations, and Hearings, and prepare detailed documents outlining resolution options and outcomes.
  • Assess risks, maintain electronic records, and ensure decisions are supported by evidence while aligning with the model litigant principles.

Requirements:

  • Australian Citizenship
  • Legal experience
