As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the finance function with financial data preparation, reconciliation, and analysis.
- Reconcile and process corporate credit card transactions, ensuring accurate documentation and coding.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including billing and invoicing.
- Perform reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Support month-end and year-end processes, including journal entries and accruals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Reconcile and process corporate credit card transactions, ensuring proper documentation and coding.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable Support.
- Support the billing process, generate invoices, monitor billing cycle, investigate discrepancies and resolve queries.
- Perform reconciliations and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Support month-end and year-end processes, including journal entries and accruals as directed.
- Maintain compliance with internal financial controls and assist with audit preparation.
Key Skills And Experience:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, flexibility, and willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar) and strong Excel skills.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes.
- Exposure to AP/AR functions, fixed assets, and tax compliance.
- Experience with bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Working knowledge of BAS.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree/Certificate in accounting, finance, or a related field. Progress towards CPA or CA qualification (preferred or desirable).
