Senior Renewable Energy Coordinator

The role of a Senior Renewable Energy Coordinator involves overseeing the daily operations of a utility-scale solar farm. This includes coordinating site activities, liaising with maintenance and OEM service providers, and ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

About The Role
  • Operational Coordination:
    • Coordinate daily site activities and collaborate with O&M and OEM service providers to ensure smooth operation.
    • Oversee non-electrical maintenance including vegetation management and inspections.
    • Monitor asset performance and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Compliance and Safety:
    • Ensure all site activities adhere to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
    • Support emergency response drills, incident reporting, and permit-to-work systems.
    • Act as a point of contact for inspections and audits.
  • Performance and Reporting:
    • Track operational KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Analyse data to support performance optimisation and reporting.
    • Maintain accurate records of site documentation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build positive relationships with local communities and promote sustainability initiatives.
    • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and government agencies.
  • Innovation and Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for operational enhancements and trial new technologies.
    • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
    About You
    • A diploma or equivalent qualification in engineering, technical, or project coordination disciplines is preferred.
    • Strong understanding of electrical systems, solar PV technologies, and asset management is essential.
    • Experience in site coordination, contractor management, and compliance monitoring is highly valued.
    • Familiarity with SCADA systems, energy monitoring platforms, and lean practices is an advantage.
    • Excellent communication and organisational skills are crucial for success in this role.
