Maintenance Expert Leader for Electrical Infrastructure

We are seeking a Maintenance Expert to lead our electrical infrastructure team in maintenance and repair work.

The successful candidate will have strong safety and customer focus with good communication skills, an electrical trade or engineering qualification, leadership experience in minerals processing, and experience with computer maintenance systems.

This is a challenging opportunity for someone who is passionate about maintenance management and has excellent technical knowledge of electrical and control systems.

About the role:

  • Lead electrical trades team in maintenance and repair work
  • Coordinate maintenance activities and prioritize tasks using SAP
  • Oversee planned and unplanned maintenance at the Fixed Plant
  • Contribute to plant shutdown planning and execution
  • Ensure effective communication within the Fixed Plant Team
  • Provide technical input on electrical and control systems

About your experience:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong safety and customer focus with good communication skills
  • Educational background in electrical trade or engineering
  • Leadership experience in minerals processing
  • Experience with computer maintenance systems, preferably SAP

About our operations:

We operate in SA and NSW, with iron ore mines in South Australia's Middleback Ranges and Tahmoor Colliery in NSW. Our facilities are based in Whyalla, Adelaide, and Sydney.

We are expanding our Iron Ore business with significant investments over the next three years.

Tahmoor produces metallurgical coal for steelmaking, with ongoing expansion efforts.
