Job Title: Platforms Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and report on the performance, availability, and stability of our Microsoft ecosystem, ensuring system health and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Lead a small team to respond to Level 2 service requests, working closely with the Service and Support team to support and maintain existing Microsoft systems, with a focus on SharePoint and MS Teams.
  • Engage with senior leaders to understand technical issues with Microsoft systems, focusing on SharePoint Online and MS Teams, and forecast items for future implementation.
  • Lead stakeholder meetings and committees to assess the technical viability of existing Microsoft systems.
  • Act as the customer for future technical changes, accepting delivery outcomes in consultation with product owners.
  • Manage risk related to technical operations, including application health, privacy, and liaising with the Cyber Security Manager through the production readiness checklist.
  • Identify the need for enterprise architecture services and work closely with senior leaders to develop a technical roadmap for the organization, focusing on SharePoint Online and its relationship to the OIR technical landscape.
  • Forecast and manage funding and vendors for platform maintenance to ensure business continuity and growth of the organization, identifying emerging threats and solutions to mitigate risk.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft systems, including SharePoint and MS Teams.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage risk and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate emerging threats.
