Senior Prudential Supervisor

Assume a pivotal role overseeing the prudential supervision of life insurers and private health insurers in Australia. You will identify and investigate prudential risks and collaborate with other supervision teams to achieve APRA's purpose.
">Key Responsibilities:- Assess the quality of managed organisations' management, strategies, practices, and systems;
- Perform preliminary analysis of supervised entities to identify potential problems and share findings with senior supervisors;
- Support engagement delivery with supervised organisations by preparing agendas and briefings;
- Adapt supervision style and process to organisational needs;
- Acquire and develop financial and non-financial analysis skills for high-quality analysis and risk assessment.
About You
- A naturally inquisitive mindset with strong analytical, investigative, and research skills;
- Excellent organisational, self-management, and priority management skills;
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills;
- Life insurance and/or private health insurance industry knowledge;
- Ability to stay up to date with financial market trends;
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
