We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to support project finance and M&A activities on a short-term contract basis.

About the Role

This position plays a pivotal part in building, updating, and analyzing financial models for various projects. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and insightful financial projections, contributing to the successful development and acquisition of assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models for projects, including cash flow projections, sensitivity analyses, and valuation models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project data, assumptions, and market insights to enhance model accuracy.
  • Conduct due diligence and financial analysis to support M&A activities and investment decisions.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and models to senior management and potential investors.
  • Identify and evaluate potential risks and opportunities within financial models.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market dynamics to inform financial projections and decision-making.
About You

We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). You should have strong experience in financial modeling and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling software. Knowledge of project finance, tax equity structures, and power purchase agreements is also required. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Effective communication skills are crucial, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
