Bechtel Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Structural Field Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our project team, you will provide expert field engineering services, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement construction plans and procedures.
  • Conduct site inspections and verify compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Prepare and review construction drawings and specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, construction management) and 5-8 years of experience in field engineering or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in Australian Codes & Standards for Structural Steel Installation.
  • Knowledge of Bechtel Standard Applications (BSAPs) and other relevant software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Working Conditions:

This role requires working in a fast-paced construction environment, with frequent travel to project sites. You must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions. A strong commitment to safety and quality is essential.
