About the Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a vital role in developing and maintaining business relationships with our network of brokers. Your expertise in mortgage lending and third-party intermediary spaces will enable you to provide exceptional service and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Proactively manage a sales funnel and follow up sales leads and opportunities to completion
  2. Help educate brokers around all loan opportunities and how it can drive their business growth
  3. Support broader business initiatives to improve business performance, efficiencies and broker / customer satisfaction

You will be responsible for providing a delightful experience to brokers and their customers in relation to new loan enquiries, applications, or existing loans.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated excellence in business development, sales and relationship management
  • Experience in the banking, non-bank and finance industries, specifically within the broker space
  • Proven experience in growing a panel of brokers
  • Proven track record in meeting or exceeding targets
  • Working knowledge of the banking industry, Australian housing market, and regulatory environment
