About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Category Manager/Buyer to join our Product Team at 99 Bikes. This is a hands-on, full-time role, based in our Brisbane office, and will suit an individual seeking high levels of responsibility and autonomy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the range selection, pricing, promotion, and sell-through of product lines to meet customer demand.
  • Analyse sales, retail data, and consumer insights to inform long-term category strategy.
  • Forecast, purchase, and allocate inventory to meet customer needs.
  • Accurately manage category product data, including new line entries, price changes, and product specifications.
  • Foster strong relationships with trade partners to achieve mutually beneficial trading terms and favourable buy prices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing and Retail Leadership, to support category strategy and sell-through.
Key Criteria
  • Ambitious and growth-minded individual with a proven track record of high achievements.
  • At least 1 year of Category Management/Buying experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and passion for problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills for dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with ERP systems and Business Intelligence systems, preferably NetSuite.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
