Editorial AI Engineer Opportunity

The Editorial AI Engineer plays a pivotal role in defining how artificial intelligence communicates with journalists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, test, and refine prompts to guide AI models producing accurate responses for journalistic applications.
  • Collaborate with editorial teams to enhance workflow efficiency while maintaining integrity, translating requirements into effective AI interactions.
  • Develop sophisticated prompts guiding AI models and define excellence benchmarks for outputs, ensuring adherence to accuracy, relevance, tone, and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Passion for journalism and understanding of modern newsroom operations.
  • Curiosity and demonstrated coding experience, preferably Python, natural language processing (NLP), and prompt engineering using different models.
  • Strong grasp of language semantics and syntax, coupled with an experimental mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust with both journalists and technical teams.
