Senior Civil Designer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Designer to join our Community Development team in Rockhampton, Queensland.

The role will suit a senior civil designer with experience in urban, land and subdivision projects for councils, local government, main roads, or developers.

Our approach covers master planned communities, mixed-use developments, parks, recreation facilities, and streetscapes. We activate urban downtowns, suburban centers, small towns, and rural areas—and the multimodal corridors that connect us to the places we work, live, and thrive.

About the Role:
  • Preparing conceptual and detailed designs using 12D software (land subdivisions, road infrastructure, drainage, sewer & water systems as well as associated infrastructure)
  • Interpreting civil design requirements of State Government, Local Government Authorities, and private sector clients
  • Interface with associated disciplines such as transport, planning, survey, traffic, electrical, and landscaping
  • Interacting with clients regarding project needs
Key Qualifications:
  • Senior civil designer experience in urban, land, and subdivisions
  • Relevant qualifications (Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated experience using 12D software
  • Familiarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirements
  • A commitment to self-improvement and continuing professional development
