We are seeking an experienced and passionate Room Leader to join our educational team.

The Hive ELC is a family-owned Early Learning Centre and kindergarten that values individuality, creativity, and lifelong learning. Our centre is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, which prioritizes child-led exploration and discovery.

We provide a nurturing environment that supports the unique needs, interests, and strengths of each child. Our modern and renovated centre features 4 spacious rooms and a maximum capacity of 76 places. We cater to a range of ages, from 6 weeks to 5 years, in our nursery, toddler, pre-kinder, and kinder room.

Our facilities include veggie patches, incursions, playgrounds, and much more, designed to foster a fun, educational, and stimulating environment. Our operational hours are 6:00am until 7:00pm Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans that align with the National Quality Standards
  • Lead and manage a team of educators to provide high-quality care and education
  • Maintain open communication with parents through regular updates and feedback
Requirements:
  • Diploma-level early childhood qualification
  • Strong knowledge within the Childcare industry
  • Relevant working with children checks, police checks, child protection course, First Aid and CPR including anaphylaxis and asthma
  • Understanding of the NQS
