Key Job Responsibilities

The Examinations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the planning, logistics, and results release processes for Divisional Clinical Examinations.

  • Manage timelines, processes, communications, and documentation to support the coordination and delivery of examinations.

  • Provide secretariat support to examination committees and panels, including preparation of agendas and briefs, organising and attending meetings, producing minutes, drafting reports and correspondence, and supporting the implementation of committee decisions, policies, and procedures.

  • Arrange calibration/training sessions and provide support to committees, panels, examiners, Local Examination Organisers, hospital administrative staff, and other external stakeholders involved in conducting Divisional assessments.

  • Maintain records of candidate details, applications, and results to ensure accuracy and reliability of information.

Essential Attributes:

  • Relevant qualifications or an equivalent combination of relevant training and/or experience in administration.

  • Previous experience in an administrative support role in a very busy, complex, customer-focused work environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.

  • Effective planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines and high workloads without compromising quality and standards.
