Financial Risk Assessment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Risk Assessment Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of financial circumstances, ensuring sufficient documentation and verification is provided, and protecting each application against possible fraud.
Main Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of applicants' financial situations
- Evaluate the sufficiency of KYC documentation and ID verification
- Identify and mitigate potential fraud risks
- Liaise with customers and third parties to verify details as needed
- Prior experience in financial risk assessment or a related field
- Good understanding of Australian regulated credit laws and regulations
- Certificate IV in Credit Management or equivalent
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage high-volume workloads
