About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structured Finance Professional to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our Corporate and Institutional Bank's (CIB) debt product team, you will be responsible for providing Structured Finance solutions to our corporate and institutional banking customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver credit analysis, structuring, negotiating, and documentation on complex deals
  • Collaborate with senior debt product colleagues, internal coverage, analysts, and legal departments to provide high-level service to clients
  • Identify prospective SF opportunities with customers that lead to new business, including preparation of marketing materials and terms sheets
  • Participate in achieving Net Income and ROE plans
Requirements
  • Recent experience working with customers with significant commercial financing needs
  • High degree of numeracy and financial competence, including financial modelling, complex credit analysis, legal, tax, and/or accounting skills
  • Formal qualifications in quantitative disciplines such as accounting, finance, engineering, actuarial studies etc will be well regarded
  • Proven ability to work in small deal teams under tight timeframes and other undefined constraints while balancing competing priorities
  • Natural curiosity to learn and understand client industry sectors
  • Strong commercial acumen and decision-making skills
