Job Overview

You will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of our Technology group, based in South Brisbane, Queensland. As a Senior ICT Engineer, you will contribute to advising and designing advanced technologies for modern, smart, and iconic projects across Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ICT design support for offices and projects across Australia, including active and passive systems, infrastructure, carrier connections, Audio-Visual services, etc.
  • Prepare technical documents for planning, prepare specifications and drawings, call tenders, and provide construction service support, including testing and commissioning.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, participate in business development, and support project delivery in terms of program, profitability, technical risk management, and client satisfaction.
  • Support junior staff members through mentorship.
  • Assist clients and internal customers with technical queries.

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent training in networking, computer science, cyber security, etc.
  • Strong customer focus, providing bespoke solutions.
  • Experience in design and delivery of: Structured Cabling Systems; Backbone Fibre & Copper; MATV/IPTV Systems; DAS; ICN - Integrated Communications Network; IP telephony systems; Active networks; Wireless Design; Digital Signage; Large scale AV Systems; Data Centres; Defence ICT design.
  • Knowledge of physical and cyber security beneficial but not essential.
  • RCDD, CCNA, or CISSP certifications are advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards (AS/NZ, IEC, ANSI/TIA, BICSI, IEEE, CSA, OBC, NBC).
  • Current AGSVA Baseline clearance, or ability to obtain (must be an Australian Citizen).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; innovation driven by customer and industry requirements; positive attitude; ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
