
Advanced Nuclear Technology Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge nuclear technology as part of a submarine program in Australia. You will be working closely with senior leaders and external agencies to develop and execute divisional plans to support shipyard requirements.
You will manage production facilities to meet schedules, ensuring all technical requirements are met through training, supervision, surveillance, and audits. Additionally, you will oversee administrative support, ship/sub maintenance, and repair production support to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage production facilities and resources to meet project timelines.
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality services and products that meet customer requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement project plans.
- Participate in long-range, intermediate, and emergent planning for the department's overall goals.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a defence clearance.
- Proven ability to plan, manage, and execute complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
- Experience leading multi-discipline teams in high-stakes environments.
- Degree in engineering, nuclear science, or a related technical field.
- Certification/s in Project Management.
- Completion of relevant training programs.
- Ability to coordinate across departments.
During deployment, you will receive on-the-job training combined with instructor-led classroom training. This training program and work are carried out in accordance with company processes and procedures.
After completion of your deployment, you will return to Western Australia (WA) to carry out planning, management, and in-water maintenance activities on the United States Navy Virginia Class Submarines. Repatriation to WA is non-negotiable.
