Business Development Specialist

We are a leading international law firm with a global team of over 5,000 professionals. Our market-leading Business Development team is seeking a skilled Business Development Consultant to support our Employment, Industrial Relations and Safety (EIRS) practice group.
The OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity for a client-centric Business Development Consultant who enjoys coaching partners and lawyers to drive national growth initiatives. As a key member of our BD team, you will provide strategic advice to the Regional Head of Practice and partners to develop the group's business development strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach partners to pursue opportunities in new and emerging markets, including building the sales capability of the group.
- Provide tactical and strategic advice to the Regional Head of Practice and partners to develop the group's business development strategy.
- Contribute to the preparation of directory submissions, pitch and bid documents.
- Develop innovative ideas to improve the client experience.
- Analyse firm client data to identify opportunities to undertake EIRS-related work and assist with the development and implementation of appropriate strategies.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years' experience in a Business Development role with a focus on strategic selling, pursuits management, and account management.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and confident in managing multiple stakeholders in the decision-making process.
- Sound knowledge of business development, particularly in tactical sales, negotiation, and relationship building.
