Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Interior Design Lead to join our team. As an Interior Design Lead, you will be responsible for leading the design and documentation of interior spaces for both new and existing clients.

You will also foster and manage client relationships within the education sector, shaping and influencing the design aspects of Education projects, mentoring and coaching junior employees, overseeing day-to-day client project relationship management, advising on fees and engagement of sub-consultants, defining work scope and overseeing progress of deliverables, reporting on project performance and variations to the project scope, and overseeing multiple projects teams and monitoring their performance and financials.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to run your own projects, delivering high-quality outcomes from both a technical and creative perspective.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Key inputs within the design and documenting of interior spaces for both new and existing clients
  • Fostering and managing clients' relationships within the education sector
  • Shaping and influencing the design aspects of Education projects
  • Mentoring, coaching, and managing junior employees
  • Overseeing day-to-day client project relationship management
  • Advising on fees and engagement of sub-consultants, defining work scope and overseeing progress of deliverables
  • Reporting on project performance and variations to the project scope
  • Overseeing multiple projects teams and monitoring their performance and financials
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 6 years experience in a similar position
  • Interior Design/Architecture degree or relevant qualification
  • Confident and highly competent presentation abilities
  • Creative skills with an ability to conceptualise and communicate ideas effectively
  • Ability to work in fast paced, challenging and highly-rewarding environment
  • Proficient in Revit
  • Commercial, Residential and/or Hospitality experience essential
  • A personality that is collaborative, positive and ambitious
