Job Role: Credit Risk Assessor

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Credit Risk Assessor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of customers and providing recommendations to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage workflow from a central queue in a timely manner.
  • Prepare files and ensure all required documentation is included in submissions.
  • Understand computer systems to ensure records accurately reflect customer positions.
  • Work with the credit team to ensure objectives are met in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to compliance regulations and manage potential risks.
  • Contribute to process improvement and quality frameworks.
  • Liaise with third-party brokers, clients, and stakeholders.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary education within business or finance.
  • Prior experience in retail banking or mortgage industry (preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
