Job Title: Credit Risk Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Specialist to manage debtor collections and maintain financial transactions.

  • Effective management of debtor collections via phone calls, emails, and other communication channels;
  • Liaising with partners to facilitate the collection of outstanding debtors from their clients;
  • Providing prompt responses to client queries and resolving any issues that may arise during the collection process;
  • Assisting in rectifying unidentified deposits and ensuring accurate financial records;
  • Maintaining and improving processes and procedures to control financial transactions and enhance overall performance.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in credit control, preferably within a professional services environment;
  • Experience in managing debtor collections for insurance clients is highly advantageous;
  • A proven track record of reducing debt and achieving high cash inflows;
  • Strong decision-making skills when dealing with debtor collections;
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of the organization;
  • Autonomy and ability to work effectively as part of a team;
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills;
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges;
  • High level of enthusiasm and a positive attitude towards working in a fast-paced environment.
