Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and in a timely manner for all employees.

This role involves ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and organisational policies. You will also be required to maintain and update payroll records, including leave and superannuation contributions.

In addition, you will assist with payroll reporting and reconciliation tasks as needed. Your excellent communication skills will be essential in responding to payroll-related enquiries from staff and resolving issues promptly.

Collaboration with the Accounting & Finance team is crucial to ensure seamless financial operations. Furthermore, contributing to process improvement initiatives within payroll operations is an important aspect of this role.

To be successful in this position, you will require 3-5 years experience in Australian payroll processing within a professional setting. Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills are also essential. Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite is necessary, as well as a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
